Update
Efforts to obtain land on which to build this project have met with obstacles.
Talks with a land owner to obtain an additional two acres on Hwy 169 adjacent to the one acre we owned, were futile.
And the City of Algona has no interest in
our Master Plan known as Stogie's Prairie, which would have created an amenity for all AND an animal rescue at no charge to the City or taxpayers of Algona.
We are currently working on several other options to make this dream a reality.
Once the Facility is completed, it will be turned over to the local
organization: Tails Of Hope Rescue located in Algona, Iowa.
There will be room for 40 dogs, 100 cats and and smaller animals.
Space will also be available for behavior training, & spay/neuter.
Please help us make this facility the best it can be!
